Machine polishing can reduce swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and dullness to improve the depth and clarity of your vehicle’s paintwork.
Localised polishing can be added to a Basic or Premium valet for £50. Whole-car single-stage enhancement is £295 standalone, £250 with Basic or £220 with Premium. Single-stage machine polishing is already included with Ultra.
What Can Be Improved?
From Dull Paint to a Clearer, Glossier Finish
Paintwork can lose clarity through washing marks, swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and general wear. Machine polishing works by carefully refining the painted surface to improve gloss and reduce visible defects.

Ideal when the main aim is to improve gloss, depth and overall appearance rather than chase every individual defect.
More Noticeable Defects
Where swirl marks, scratches or oxidation are more visible, additional polishing may improve them further depending on the condition and available paint depth.
Realistic Results
Some deeper scratches, stone chips, damaged clear coat or previous paint defects cannot be safely polished away. The aim is always to improve the finish without removing unnecessary paint.
The Process
Careful Preparation Before Machine Polishing
Paint Inspection
The paintwork is checked first to assess overall condition, visible defects and whether polishing is suitable for the result you want.
Wash & Paint Prep
The vehicle is cleaned thoroughly and paint decontamination is carried out where required so polishing is carried out on a properly prepared surface.
Test & Machine Polish
A suitable polishing combination is chosen for the paint and level of correction required, with a test area used where appropriate before working across the vehicle.
Finish & Protect

After Polishing
Protect the Improved Finish
Once the paint has been polished, it makes sense to protect the improved surface. A suitable sealant can be applied as part of the service, or you can choose a ceramic coating for longer-term protection and easier maintenance.
